On May 21, the 10th China Flower Expo officially kicked off in Shanghai. Sunwin 9-series, 8-series electric buses and intercity buses were put in service on several special lines to meet the surging demand for transportation services.
With barrier-free boarding system, Sunwin 9-series electric buses provide passengers with more travel comforts. Thanks to its ECAS, the bus’ floor is only 28 centimeters above the ground. By putting a special ramp between the vehicle and the bus station platform, those confined to wheelchairs can easily board the bus.
Measuring 10-meter in length, Sunwin 8-series electric bus has two boarding steps and 37+1 seats. It is able to drive over 300 km continuously. Its head-up display (HUD) projects such key information as speed and power left in front of the bus drivers, so as to create a more comfortable working environment for them and enhance the overall safety standards of the bus.
Sunwin 8-series intercity bus is able to drive over 400 km continuously on expressways. It has 49 seats and advanced AC and ventilation systems, creating a pleasant traveling environment for passengers.
According to Shanghai Road Transportation Administration Bureau, over 300 units Sunwin new energy buses have been put into service to serve visitors to main venues of China Flower Expo. Sunwin has also established a special after-sales service team to provide immediate services in case of emergencies. Each Sunwin bus is checked on a daily basis to ensure its smooth operation. By taking full advantage of the internet of vehicle technologies, Sunwin is also able to monitor the operation of its buses in realtime and thus greatly improve their operation efficiency. In addition, it has held a series of training sessions for bus drivers and mechanics, fully preparing them for all buses’ safe operation.
